DELIVERY OPTIONS

Australian & New Zealand Customers

As we prefer our customers receive their orders as soon as possible, we ship all orders via Express Post

Orders exceeding $150 receive free express shipping. Orders below $150 are charged $11.95 for shipping. Note, this is usually the standard charge for regular shipping - we offer a free upgrade to express shipping. 

We expect orders to be received within 2-3 business days for capital cities, and 3-7 for regional and remote locations. 

Once orders are placed, they are not able to be edited, added to or cancelled. For any urgent matters, please contact us via Instagram.

If you place your order over a weekend or on a Western Australian public holiday it will be processed and sent out the next business day (Monday - Friday).

For New Zealand Customers, we also offer a DHL shipping option, at an extra charge.

Please note: Shipping times are a guideline and subject to change. You may experience slightly longer delivery times during peak periods, due to COVID-19, due to wild weather, or due to other Australia Post  delivery issues that are unforeseen or unavoidable events beyond our reasonable control.

Online orders are processed and shipped from Perth, Western Australia and so we follow any Western Australian Public Holidays.

 

NEXT DAY DISPATCH

All orders placed before 2pm WST on Monday to Friday are generally fulfilled and dispatched on the same day  

We will always try our best to get your August Lashes order to you as quickly as possible

 

TRACKING

You will receive an email with your tracking information once your order has been processed. 

If you are unable to locate your tracking number, or if you have any questions about your shipped order please contact us via email or Instagram and we will assist you with your enquiry.

 

SHIPPING TO MULTIPLE ADDRESSES

We are unable to process split shipments within one order at this time. If you wish to ship to multiple addresses, you can do this by creating separate orders, each with their own delivery address

  

RETURNS POLICY

We hope that you will be 100% delighted with your August Lashes purchase. If you change your mind about your purchase, for any reason, you are welcome to return your product to us within 45 days of your purchase date.

  • Refund - if product returned is in a new, unused and resaleable condition
  • Exchange/store credit - if product returned has been lightly sampled, opened or unwrapped

To be able to return or exchange a product, you must provide a valid proof of purchase.

 

We reserve the right to charge for excessive returns (ie. multiple, separate return requests for items in one order) 

 

PROCESS FOR MAKING A RETURN

  1. Please contact us via email or Instagram to organise your return (please have your order details ready)
  2. Once your return is verified will be email you a return label to help you place the return
  3. Print your Australia Post return label. Don't have a printer? You can print your label at the Post Office - just present your returns label email (on your phone) at an Australia Post outlet.
  4. Organise your return. Package your items securely and attach the return label emailed to you.
  5. Drop off your return at any Post Office, Post Box or Parcel Locker.
  6. Once we have received the return goods and verified the condition we will process your refund or exchange/store credit
  7. All refunds will be processed via the original payment method

Note, New Zealand customers will have a slightly different returns process.

 

GIFT RETURNS

Gifted products can be returned for an exchange or store credit within 30 days provided you have a gift receipt as your proof of purchase and the product is unused or only lightly sampled. Unfortunately refunds are not available for gift returns

 

CONSUMER GUARANTEES

Our products come with the consumer guarantees found in the Australian Consumer Law which cannot be excluded, including guarantees that the products will be of acceptable quality. The consumer guarantees are not affected by our change of mind policy above.

In the unlikely event that you receive products from us that do not comply with the consumer guarantees, we will provide you with a refund or exchange based on the below:

  • If we consider that the product has a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law (eg. the product is unsafe, does not fit the description or is not fit for purpose), you can return it and receive your choice of a refund or an exchange, and compensation for any other reasonable foreseeable loss or damage.
  • If we consider that the product has a minor failure under the Australian Consumer Law (eg. the product's packaging is cracked but does not affect the safety or use of the product), we will provide you with our choice of a refund or exchange.

Where a product is damaged through misuse, accident or abnormal use, the Australian Consumer Law or any manufacturer’s warranty may not apply, and August Lashes may choose not to provide a refund, exchange or repair (if applicable).

August Lashes will require proof of purchase before providing a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

 

PLEASE NOTE: 

All sales are final. 

Please note that orders cannot be cancelled once they have been processed. 

If an incorrect shipping address is provided by a customer, the order will be returned to August Lashes and the customer must pay to re-ship the purchase order. 

Unfortunately, August Lashes is not held responsible for lost or stolen packages or delays in transit. August Lashes does not take on any responsibility and/or liability of a purchase order once delivered and confirmed delivered by tracking. 

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

How long will my return take?

Due to the COVID-19 situation, and the need for incoming returns to be quarantined for 72 hours, returns are taking a little longer than usual.

For returns via post, products typically take 2 to 7 business days to reach our warehouse. You will be able to track the delivery of your return via the Australia Post tracking number supplied when you book your return. Once our warehouse receives your return, it will be processed within 4 to 7 business days. Your bank may take a further 3 to 5 days to clear the funds back into your account.

 

 What do you mean by "lightly sampled"?

 "Lightly sampled" means a product may have some signs of minor wear or use, but must not be damaged unless you received the product in this condition.

 

What can I use as proof of purchase?

You may use any of the following as proof of purchase: 

  • Register receipt or e-receipt tax invoice
  • Email confirmation of purchase
  • Any other proof of purchase of the relevant product
